The Story Behind the Champions 25/26 Arsenal Custom Name Plate: Why Fans Are Obsessed
Discover why Arsenal supporters are calling this the ultimate piece of fan memorabilia. From design inspiration to your desk — the full story of our most requested product ever.
By CohibasCorner

There is a moment every Arsenal fan knows. The final whistle. The Emirates erupting. "Champions" ringing out from every stand. For the 2025/26 season, that moment became history — and we built something to hold it.
The Arsenal Champions 25/26 Custom Name Plate is not merchandise. It is a piece of the season you lived through, personalized with your name, sitting where you will see it every single day.
Here is why this plate has become our most requested product — and why the fans who receive it rarely order just one.
What Makes This Plate Different
Most fan products are mass-produced. Keychains, mugs, scarves — they sit in drawers. The Champions Name Plate is designed to sit where you work, where you think, where you remember why you fell in love with the club.
The Design
The plate features Arsenal's iconic red-and-white colourway with a metallic gold finish that catches light like a trophy. The "Champions 25/26" badge is rendered in crisp 3D print detail — not a sticker, not a print-on-demand transfer. It is part of the structure itself.
Your name appears below the badge in a clean, modern typeface that reads clearly from across a room. Every plate is made to order. No two are identical.
The Material
We print each plate in high-quality PLA+ on a Bambu X1 Carbon at 0.16 mm layer height. That means smooth surfaces, sharp edges, and a weight that feels substantial in your hand — not hollow, not flimsy. The finish is sanded and treated by hand before shipping.
"The quality shocked me. It is legit premium. Already ordered two more for my sons." — James T., Verified Buyer
Why the 25/26 Season Matters
Arsenal's 2025/26 Premier League title was not just another trophy. It was the culmination of years of rebuild — from the post-Wenger transition, through the Arteta project, to a squad that finally clicked. Fans who lived through the lean years understood what this one meant.
The name plate captures that feeling permanently. It is not about the match you watched. It is about the years you waited.
How Fans Are Using It
We have shipped over 50 of these plates to Gunners across Canada, the US, and the UK. Here is where they end up:
- The home office desk — right under the monitor, where it catches Zoom calls and starts conversations
- The memorabilia shelf — beside signed shirts, match programmes, and ticket stubs
- The kid's bedroom door — a name plate that means something before they are old enough to understand why
- The gift box — the most common order pattern: one for yourself, one for the fan who got you into the club
"Bought one for my dad who has been a gooner since 89. He legit teared up. Best gift ever." — Kwaku A., Verified Buyer
Who This Plate Is For
This plate was designed for a specific kind of Arsenal supporter — not the casual fan, but the one who remembers the lean years. The one who can tell you where they were when Ramsey scored against Hull in the 2014 FA Cup final. The one who has a shelf, a desk, or a wall that tells the story of their devotion.
If you are buying for yourself, it is a daily reminder of the season that finally paid off every Saturday morning wake-up and every midweek European trip. If you are buying for someone else, it is the kind of gift that arrives in a plain box and still makes someone stop what they are doing when they open it.
We see three types of buyers:
- The lifelong Gooner — buying for their own desk or shelf, usually with their actual name or nickname from the stands
- The gift buyer — typically a son or daughter buying for a father who introduced them to the club, or a partner who knows what "COYG" means
- The collector — someone building a memorabilia display who needs a centerpiece that ties the room together
Each of these buyers writes the same thing in reviews: they did not expect it to feel this premium.
How It Compares to Other Arsenal Merchandise
The official Arsenal store sells beautiful products — signed shirts, scarves, badges, and prints. We own many of them. But the Champions Name Plate occupies a different space.
| Feature | Official Merch | Champions Name Plate | |---------|---------------|---------------------| | Personalization | No | Yes — your name, any name | | Limited to season | Sometimes | Yes — 25/26 only | | Material quality | Varies | Premium PLA+, hand-finished | | Made to order | No | Yes — every plate is unique | | Price point | $30-80 | CAD $45 | | Conversation starter | Sometimes | Always — "Where did you get that?" |
The plate does not replace your signed shirt or your match-worn scarf. It complements them. It is the piece that sits front and center on the shelf and says, "This is my club, and this is my name."
The Production Run
This is a limited production run tied to the 25/26 season. Once the current batch sells through, the Champions 25/26 design retires. We will release new designs for future seasons, but this specific badge — this specific season — will not be reproduced.
That is by design. A season is a moment in time. A trophy is a moment in time. This plate should be too.

The 3D Printing Process: What Goes Into Every Plate
People ask us why these plates feel different from other 3D printed products they have seen. The answer is in the process.
Design (30 minutes per plate)
Every order starts with a custom layout. We do not use a template where your name gets dropped into a fixed position. The kerning — the spacing between letters — is adjusted based on the specific characters in your name. A name with lots of round letters (O, S, C) needs different spacing than one with straight letters (I, T, L). This is what makes the plate look designed, not generated.
Printing (6 hours per plate)
The plate is printed on a Bambu X1 Carbon in two parts: the base plate in deep Arsenal crimson, and the text/badge overlay in metallic gold PLA+. The layer height is 0.16 mm, which is finer than standard 0.2 mm prints. That means smoother curves on the badge and cleaner edges on the lettering.
Finishing (45 minutes per plate)
After printing, every plate is hand-sanded to remove layer lines from the visible surfaces. The edges are softened just enough to feel comfortable if you pick it up. Then a light treatment is applied to deepen the colour and add a subtle satin sheen — not glossy, not matte, somewhere in between.
Quality Check (10 minutes per plate)
Before packing, each plate is photographed from three angles and compared against our reference images. If the gold text is not crisp, if the crimson is uneven, if there is any visible imperfection — it goes back to reprint. We reject about 5% of plates at this stage.
Packing and Shipping
Plates are packed in a custom rigid mailer with foam lining. We use compostable materials where possible. Tracking is included on every order.
From Our Workshop to Your Desk
Every plate starts as a digital file in our design software, then moves to the printer for a 6-hour print run. From there it is hand-finished, quality-checked against our reference photos, packed in a custom mailer, and shipped with tracking.
Total time from order to doorstep: 3-5 business days for Canada and US orders. International shipping available with delivery in 2-3 weeks.
The Reviews Speak for Themselves
Our Arsenal Champions Name Plate holds a 5-star rating from verified buyers. The most common words in reviews: "premium," "gift," "father," "son," "quality," "shipping," "fast."
That is not an accident. We built this for the fan who already owns the jersey, already has the scarf, already knows every chant. This is for the fan who wants something that lasts longer than a season.
